In a similar vein were Grihajuddha (The Crossroads) and Andhi Gali\u003cbr\u003e\n(The Blind Alley). The three were dubbed a trilogy. In Neen Annapurna (Bitter\u003cbr\u003e\nMorsel), Dasgupta depicted the ruthless growth of dehumanisation and\u003cbr\u003e\nlumpenisatin that has been going on behind the giltter of progress,\u003cbr\u003e\ndevelopment and urbanisation.He was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement\u003cbr\u003e\nAward at the Spain International Film Festival on May 27.
