Our oil is derived from the best Mediterranean wild oregano plants. They are collected by hand at elevations of up to 10,000 feet, where Carvacrol levels are generally higher. After harvest, the Oregano is carefully dried and steam distilled using methods that ensure that the oil retains its original chemistry, with minimal alteration. Pure Oregano oil is mixed with extra virgin olive oil cold pressed, in a ratio of 1: 3. No herbicides, pesticides or chemical procedures of any kind are used. All our oil is a British Columbia laboratory test for potency and quality.
