Product description A man calls up the Mumbai police, and tells them he has
placed five different bombs in the city all set to go off in some time. He
wants four terrorists in exchange. Does he get them? Who is behind it all?
What's his motive? Is there more than meets the eye? Review A WEDNESDAY is one
of the most wonderful movies i have ever seen. debutant director neeraj pandey
has done a wonderful work. he shows how a simple story if presented in the
right way can make a movie so much enjoyable. the movie is simply not about
terrorism or counter terrorism. it is not about the mumbai train blasts in
2005. it is not like the previous movies like MUMBAI MERI JAAN or other recent
films on the wrath of extremism. it's about how the violence of extremism can
affect the self-worth of a middleclass man, how a middle class man suffer from
all these and what are the things that goes on in his mind. The most watchable
thing in the movie is the ongoing dialogue between the police commisioner
played by ANUPAM KHER and the masterblaster common man played by NASSERUDDIN
SHAH. JIMMY SHERGIL also plays a cop's role who is an encounter specialist. it
is all about pointing out the loop holes in our system which can be exploited
very easily by the extreemists and the sufferer is the common man. you can't
know who is the villain in the movie and what is going to happen till the end.
just enjoy how a common man gives a chase to the top cops of our city. it will
return the full value of your time and money, just watch it. --ciao.com
