Ram (Feroze Khan) and Lakshman (Jeetendra), are the 2 sons of a poor farmer
shankar. Ram witnesses the murder of his father by Thakur Vikram Singh, the
Zamindar, over the use of water. Destiny seperates the two brothers from each
other and their mother. Ram grows up to become a dreaded dacoit, Thanedar
Singh, and Lakshman, an inspector who is known for his fearlessness.
Inevitably the brothers clash. And in the tussle it is the mother who suffers
the most. Will the brothers realize who they are and unite to avenge their
father's murder? Will the mother realize her dream of seeing the brothers
unite?
