The Mirtagarh family's Maharaja Bhavani Singh (Sunil Dutt) is killed by the
Surjangarh family's Maharaja Prithvi Singh (Dharmendra) which causes a bloody
feud between the two families spreading over two generations. Raja Jaswant
Singh (Vinod Khanna) returns from England shocked at the extent the war has
gone on between the two families. He is too however fated to continue this
bloody family tradition by fighting Maharaja Prithvi Singh. Years later the
sons of Maharaja Bhavani and Maharaja Prithvi respectively Vikram (Sanjay
Dutt) and Vinay (Sunny Deol) are the best of friends living in England. Vinay
even wants to marry Neelima (Raveena Tandon), the sister of Vikram which could
finally signal the end of the Mirtagarh and Surjangarh feud. Will they succeed
in finally ending this feud between their respective families or will they too
be fated to continue this bloody tradition by being forced to fight each other
where only one will be left standing.
