Salaam Namaste has the two most imminent and vibrant music
composers at play Vishal Shekhar. For his first movie, lyricist Jaideep
Sahni.Salaam Namaste has barely four original tracks followed by two remixes
that mark the end of the compilation. Review Vishal-Shekhar's music is soulful
and easy on the ears. The title track as well as 'My Heart Goes Mmmmm' stands
out, you can't stop humming the tunes when Nick and Ambar dance on screen. The
emotional 'Tu Jahan Main Wahan' depicts the emotional turmoil beautifully. The
party continues with the 'Dhol Mix' of 'Salaam Namaste' that is remixed by
Nikhil Chinappa and Naved and has an added spunk to it.The next track 'My Dil
Goes Mmmm' comes up in two versions - a Hindi and an English. ANother rocking
tune in succession by Vishal Shekhar, the Hindi version of 'My Dil' is based
on rhythm and melody while the 'English Club Mix', which is fast paced and
high on beats is simply mind-blowing.'What's Going On' rendered by Kunal
Ganjawala and Sunidhi Chauhan follows the trend of the earlier tracks and make
the listener enjoy every bit of the song.The only track in the album that
relies completely on melody without getting into a hip-hop mode, 'Tu Jahan'
surprisingly has basic arrangements very similar to 'Sun Zara' [Lucky-No
Time.My Dil Goes mmm (club remix)is worth noting downâ€its really really cool.
The beats are just rocking and it may be even better then the original.My Dil
Goes mmm (Instrumental)is just a techno instrumental and its not that great it
gets a bit annoying after about a minute or so.A good soundtrack with its
