(Veer-Zaara): Veer Pratap Singh (Shah Rukh Khan) is an
officer and pilot in the Indian Air Force who one day meets a beautiful
Pakistani heiress, Zaara Hayaat Khan (Preity Zinta), as she travels to a small
Indian village to scatter the ashes of one of her family's loyal servants.
Veer has family in the village, and while most Indians show no affection for
Pakistanis, his aunt and uncle are willing to take Zaara in for the night. It
isn't long before Veer finds himself falling for her; however, Veer learns
that Zaara is engaged to another man, Raza (Manoj Bajpai), a cruel and
humorless Pakistani. A friend of Zaara contacts Veer and tells him that Zaara
wants out of her engagement and has strong feelings for him, but when he comes
to her rescue, matters take a turn for the worse and Veer winds up in jail.
Twenty years later, Veer is still behind bars, and finds that his case is
being given a new trial, but while he has a new chance at freedom, he
discovers his lawyer will be going up against a state. (Chakde! India): Kabir
Khan lives a middle-class lifestyle along with his widowed mom in Delhi,
India, and is the Captain of the Indian men's hockey team. He fails to score
at the last tournament resulting in Pakistan winning the World Cup amidst
allegations that he was more inclined toward his opponents due to his
religion. Kabir and his mom move away and virtually disappear for seven years.
Thereafter Kabir surfaces to be a Coach for the women's hockey team,
consisting of 16 players from all over India, some of who do not communicate
well. Kabir's disciplinarian style ends up offending the players, lead by the
militant Bindia Naik, who decide not to participate unless he resigns amidst
allegations that he is having an affair with soon to-be married Vidya Sharma,
who he appoints as the new Captain. Things change after a brawl with eve-
teasers at the local McDonald's, the girls accept Kabir, however, the Chair of
the Indian Women Hockey Association, Tripathi, decides to pull out of the
World Cup but..(Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi): Surinder is married to Taani but there
is a huge age gap between them. There is no real romance in the marriage.
Then, a dance reality show called "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" airs and Taani wants
to participate but can't because her husband is not hip and happening. She has
a fear of losing, and she also fears that her friends will laugh at her.
Surinder overhears her problem and decides to go in for a makeover. He watches
some movies and learns to dance in order to woo his young wife. Throughout the
show, Taani keeps falling in love to with this new-and-improved Surinder
without once realizing that he's really her husband. (Jab Tak Hai Jaan): A
young immigrant falls in love with a NRI who wanted to marry any British
person, not a typical brown Indian. But she falls in love with that young
musician, but this love story ends with a breakup. Then that man, fed up with
life with vast emotion joins Indian army bomb squad, where he flirts with
death everyday. A young discovery channel journalist approaches his team to
cover bomb squad story but falls in love with him. Review
